While it affects 2$ of the entire population each year, it is a mental condition that leads to a display of both compulsion and obsession or any one of them. Typically, the expression of this condition differs from person to person.
This obsessive condition may arise due to a wide range of factors. These factors include persona circumstances, neurological imbalance, and genetics. In turn, the compulsion arises to compensate and relieve the feelings of anxiety.
Unfortunately, in most cases, it co-occurs with diverse mental health conditions like bipolar disorder, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and generalised anxiety disorder.
However, this situation is curable through a combination of various therapy. They include psychiatric care, emotional and psychological counselling, physical exercise, and nutritional support.
